The Monongahela Fire Department is located in the City of Monongahela,
Pennsylvania. We are celebrating our 125th anniversary in 2008.
The Monongahela Fire Department was organized in 1883, and has been
continuously responsible for providing fire protection, and other emergency
assistance to the City of Monongahela. The Department operates out of one fire
station at 451 West Main Street in Monongahela, PA.
Each year, the volunteer firemen respond to approximately 150 emergency calls.
These include various types of fires such as: structure fires; vehicle fires; brush
fires; trash fires; electrical fires; and fire alarms. The Department also answers calls
for hazardous materials, vehicle accidents and rescues, and offers assistance to
neighboring fire departments.
We are committed to our community and to providing outstanding service to our
community's residents.
